Faye von Strand, the pup with the softest ears ever, is a stunning 7-month-old black German Shepherd mixed with a touch of a smaller breed. Just walking this adorable pup causes people to halt. Faye has come a long way.  Mistakenly interpreted as shy, Faye was only confused and needed reassurance. She is now flourishing and is looking for love, guidance and patience. She loves her walks, is crate trained and plays well with her foster’s young children, teenager and adults. She loves to put her head on your lap and cuddle. Like a shepherd, she warms up slowly to strangers, and she’ll alert when she hears unfamiliar noises. She had to learn how to play and receive affection. Her foster family has taught her how to play “get the bad guy,” chase, it’s OK to put your paws on our lap, cuddle and take treats. One of her favorite things to do is for you to brush her! Faye loves to go to the dog park or play with the Chihuahua in her foster home. The big shepherd she lives has been showing her the ropes and teaching her how to be a good dog. Her foster mom says she hasn’t yet seen any shedding and wishes the other dogs would follow suit.  She will find her special place in your home and feel safe there where she can see everything.  She would like to have another dog in the house, if possible, but would be happy having her family all to herself, too.  Faye will make a wonderful new family member, like all puppies, she needs someone committed to exercise her, love her and train her.
